The Power Head is cable driven and can allow you to point your camera straight down at the ground and can turn nearly 180 degrees side to side. It’s super-smooth, hi-tech cables and fully adjustable clutch system allow fluid head like precision.

The Power Head is controlled by a handlebar system, so no electricity is required. The innovative weight basket allows you to use anything as counterweight from sandbags to rocks to traditional weights. This makes traveling with this camera jib much lighter.

Microdolly Camera Jib Arm for Rent

Our Microdolly Jib is our camera jib of choice because it’s light weight and compact in size and, depending on its configuration, you can get your camera about 10 feet off the ground. It can be configured two ways. First, one can rent it as simple jib arm, the camera plate can automatically adjust camera tilt by degrees as the boom rises or falls to maintain the camera point of view. This automatic camera tilt control accommodates many shots without using a pan/tilt head. The second rental configuration involves our MicroDolly Power Head. The POWER HEAD uses super-smooth hi-tech cables to drive a fully adjustable clutch system with fluid head like precision. The operator can easily control camera pan and tilt moves by rotating handlebars.

The innovative weight basket allows you to use locally available counterweights such as books, sand bags, even rocks. It dramatically decreases the transporting weight, which makes this jib particularly suitable for traveling crews.
